run of nepal in worldcup qualifying

Nepal is struggling country just like any other south Asian countries Nepal is trying its best to do outstanding but lacking the pace and quality to qualify for big games like Asian championship and world cup but the whole team is trying pretty hard to attain success  despite of the difficulties of the economy, also the people here are crazy here just like in any other countries people here love their national side just like any other country men but the people here aren't happy with their national side's performance in the international level.
Nepal performance in international level has been very poor it has only been able to qualify for the second round of world qualifiers for two times with brilliant score of 5-0 against Timor Leste in the run for Brazil but in second round hope of world cup was ended by Jordan.its the best the national side can come up with till now in the world qualifiers.

high altitude football

The high-altitude football controversy arose in May 2007 when FIFA introduced a temporary ban on international matches at more than 2,500 metres (8,200 ft) above sea level, citing concerns about players' health and the "unfair" advantage to acclimatised home teams. The ruling meant that BoliviaEcuador and Colombia would be prevented from hosting FIFA World Cup qualifiers in their own capital cities. The ban was rescinded in May 2008.Earlier in 2007, Brazilian club Flamengo said they would not play again at altitude after several of their players needed oxygen during a game against Bolivian team Real Potosi, held at nearly 4,000m (13,120ft).

Fifa said the decision was made because of concerns over players' health and possible distortion of competition. But the thing is it (high altitude football) is still played in the places of Nepal and they(the people over here are still unknown about the health issues they will be facing in near future.

soccer addiction in nepal

Though south Asian countries aren't doing so well in Fifa rankings. The youngsters of this region are very much attached to soccer(football). Because home league hasn't got much popularity or  because youngsters of this region didn't find the home league of the class they expect to be, so most countries from south Asia (Nepal) we can find youngsters supporting the European clubs especially from England the most and then from Spain, Germany, Italy, France and so on.

The government here is also keen to see the Nepalese soccer(football) in the better stage. I can say that because of the desperation shown by the government of Nepal by appointing Graham Roberts who use to play for Tottenham Hotspur and also use to captain the team. After his departure our government has appointed Jack Stefanowski as head coach of the national team, government is paying huge amount of money to uplift the stage of soccer(football) but not a very small improvement is seen in our national team. It is seen that most of the time supporters supporting the national team aren't happy after the result. now its time to question what is the real problem that has affected our national team? is it talent or the system?
